Summer academy goalkeeper training
Juniors (ages 8-11)
Goalkeepers aged 8-11 will develop their fundamental skills through engaging, age-appropriate, and fun technical training. We'll focus on building a solid base in essential techniques, including basic handling, communication, diving, and 1v1 scenarios. Training will also emphasize proper positioning and understanding distances within the goal area.
Juniors Elite (ages 12-14)
Goalkeepers aged 12-14 will refine their skills through focused technical training. We'll cover everything from fundamental handling and diving to advanced 1v1 techniques, tactical positioning, and decision-making in high-pressure situations. This program also includes a crucial focus on adapting to full-sized goals, fields, and size 5 balls, preparing athletes for the demands of higher-level play. Plus, we'll build a strong foundation in physical development and distribution, empowering goalkeepers to excel with their feet.
highschool (ages 14+)
To maximize individual growth, highschool goalkeepers will be grouped by skill level, allowing for targeted coaching. Each day features high-intensity field sessions that cover a wide range of advanced technical skills. Training will include: establishing proper set position and shape, refining diverse handling and diving techniques, mastering 1v1 situations, effectively managing end-line services, progressing through advanced handling and diving drills, and developing exceptional close-range shot-stopping abilities. Don’t miss this opportunity to get ready for your 2025 fall season!

what the summer academy expects from you:
We recommend athletes to train for at least 3-4 weeks, but understand the need for flexibility during the summer.
Each week has a theme and progression over the four days. It’s very important that you come the weeks you’re signed up for to get the full benefit.
A strict expectation of professionalism - getting to sessions EARLY (15-20 min), staying focused and driven, being open-minded, and having a positive mentality. If you are "unexcused tardy" (no call/text beforehand with reason) more than 3 times throughout the summer session, you will be issued a pro-rated refund and excused from the program.
